PCAWA State Tetrathlon 2010
This years Tetrathlon was held at Avon Valley Showjumping and Pony Club on the 13th & 14th March 2010. Each rider completed 4 phases; Shooting (30 m target shoot with a .22 rifle), Running (1,500m), Cross Country Ride (must nominate for D, C, B or A grade height) and Swimming (4 minute swim, how many laps of the 50m pool completed in this time). Our Murray riders shone at this years championships and the results are as follows;
TEAMS
B Grade - Murray/Eastern Hills with Cathryn Herbert & Ashleigh Sturgeon came 5th
C Grade Juniors - Murray/Avon Valley with Sophie Bocain came 5th
Senior D Grade - Murray with Asheigh Keeler, Mikayla Thaw, Kayla Logan & Dana Logan came 3rd
Senior D Grade- Murray/Baldivis with Mickaela Noonan came 5th
INDIVIDUALS
B Grade Senior Female - 2nd Cathryn Herbert & Giselle, 6th Ashleigh Sturgeon & Tia
C Grade Junior Female - 13th Sophie Bocian & Kelly
D Grade Junior Female - 9th Kayla Logan & Ty, 16th Mickayla Thaw & Andy, 17th Ashleigh Keeler & Red, 19th Dana Logan & Milly, 28th Mickaela Noonan and Narramin.
State Showjumping Championships for 2010
These will be held at the Brigadoon on the 22nd/23rd May 2010. To be eligible you will need to have completed 3 rallies on the mount you wish to ride over the 12 months prior to the 19th April 2010. Nominations are now being taken to represent Murray and the Zone please see Karen or Sarah for more information. Zone runoffs will be on Saturday 17th April at Murray Horse and Pony Club.
State Eventing Championships for 2010
These will be held on the 23rd/24th October 2010, venue to be announced. Nominations for this event will close prior to the 23rd September and you will need 3 rallies on the mount you wish to ride in the 12 months prior to this date.
State Dressage Championships for 2010
These will be held on the 11TH/12TH September at the State Equestrian Centre 2010. Keep an eye on the newsletter for more information.
Prince Phillip Mounted Games & Novelties 2010
PPMG have a qualifier which the date has not yet been announced. Keep an eye on the newsletter and training days will be announced through this and dates will follow. The finals will be held at Beverley on the 2nd and 3rd of October 2010.
