Membership for 2011
Unfortunately due to a large numbers of enrolments in the past few years we will limit our group numbers for this year to ensure our group sizes stay small and we can cater for all levels of riders.
Murray Horse and Pony Club had 94 riders registered for the 2010 season. This means we will not be taking any more new members for the 2011 season until we are sure of our re-enrolling numbers, this will be in February 2011. Previous Murray members who missed the close of enrolments should contact the Club Secreatary or Cheif Coach to see if there is any spaces in your required group level.
In 2011 as a condition of joining, parents/guardians are required to nominate for at least 4 rosters (one rally canteen/instructing, two fundraising events and one busy bee) per family. Failure to complete these rosters means that your child/children may not have their membership to Murray Horse and Pony Club accepted the following year.
Fees for 2011
There has been a slight increase to the fee structure for 2011 in line with PCAWA's cost per rider. The second and subsequent Riding Members must be from the same family will still receive a discount.
1st Riding Member $155
2nd Riding Member $120
3rd Riding Member $115
4th and subsequent Riding Members $85
The fees include all rally costs, insurance and registration with PCAWA and a monthly newsletter.
Uniform
Each Pony Club has a specific registered uniform. This uniform is to be worn on rally days and at official PCAWA events. The uniform for Murray Horse and Pony Club is as follows;
*Long sleeved light blue collared cotton button up shirt (available from the school section at Big W or K-Mart)
*Long sleeved Teal Green woollen V necked jumper (available from the pony club uniform shop)
*Navy Blue Tie (available from Pony Club or Big W or K Mart)
*PCAWA badge (available from Pony club and is worn on the V of the woollen jumper with any certificate disc)
*Cream Jodphurs - (official colour is cream however we will allow navy blue for rallies only not competitions)
*Hair Net - All long hair should tied back and in a hair net.
*Helmet - PCAWA approved
*Boots- brown or black short boots, long boots are permissible providing they fit correctly.
*Navy Blue saddle cloth
*Swede chapettes of any colour are allowed at rally only, gaiters (leather) are permitted rallies or competitions provided they are the same colour as the boot.
Uniforms can be purchased on rally day or on enrolment day. Pre-order forms have been sent to re-enrolling families.
